About custom cars into pc/ios, traffic cars can be modded, but idk if other cars still haves his damage texture and model work for too long, if theres many custom cars into, the will get broke, i belive the 3d wheels cause that cuz is shared with all cars, or, they make a very bad mistake modifying the player cars causing both traffic cars and AI cop cars not have damage models, but i belive is a bad programing, cuz my modded cars still working damage system for traffic cars on pc.

A trick i learned about when this was new is that if you press the cruise control button, your car can rubberband to the set speed much like a cop can. So if you get bumped to say 100mph and press the cc button then, even when you should be slowing down, you'll accelerate back to 100 very quickly. It's a very cheesy way to beat chase missions too, if you press it when you're rubberbanding on the target.

Is it me or does the IOS version have a cropped 4:3 FOV to make it 16:9?

I had this game on PlayStation as a 9 year old....but had no memory card so I could not save my progress lol. So I would fake being sick and my mom would let me stay home from school, I would play literally ALL DAY without turning off the console. Never got close to beating it lol

There is no way in hell all those cars in Havana go the same speed... especially the box truck and the pickup truck?!?! WITH THE MINI?!?! That mini zips around town soooooo fast by comparison to all of those cars!!! Camera angle and agility must play a huge role in the illusion here. I'm about to dust off my phat PS3 and pop this game in this evening now!

About this mission at 36:32, the civilian car as a pursuer try to mimic the Cop car Handling, but the wheels coordenates and the collision of the car is too small, making the car flips over cuz of that, since the Ai takes sharp turns evertime, theres no way to fix that unless you modifie the car handling inside the .exe using hex code, theres 2 versions of this mission, one you can pursuer him and wreck his car, the other one is the one you are playing now, since its the same guy in the game history, on the PSX the time is at day and the model changes between traffic car01 and traffic car02, the physics are better on the psx version.

The pc version had a broken safe zone system, i tested many times, doesnt work.

This Driver 2 port is simply amazing, back in the day, it was truly to have the Driver experience on the go. Total opposite to the Driv3r one, it's an absolute disgrace. Very impressive graphically (probably the most impressive game in the catalogue) but that's all it has to offer.
